Hello! We are excited to roll out a ticketing system, and greatly appreciate your patience and willingness to give this new system a try.


To get the Ticketing system working on your computer, the setup is fairly simple, and you'll be all set in no time!

- Firstly, we need to get the ticketing application accessible on your device. Please follow the steps below.


1.        - Look at the task bar, there is a small arrow at the bottom right.

 

 

2.       - Click on the arrow, and a smaller menu will appear. 


The  The Green life buoy is our ticketing portal.

  - Drag this icon onto the lower right, it will stick to the taskbar.

 

 

 Now that the icon is in an accessible location, we need to get you signed onto the ticketing portal.

 

- Start by Right Clicking on the Ticket portal icon (the buoy), making this menu pop up.

- Click on "Create New Ticket" as shown below.

This will take you to a new browser window. 

- From here, click "Login using Activation Link" as circled below .

Another tab will open in the browser.

An activation link will be sent to your email. 

- When you receive it, click the "Sign in to the IT Service Portal" as circled below.

It will open another web page. There is a “Skip” button at the bottom right of the page, please click it. Do not enter your phone number.

- The next page will have a “Launch widget” button, click it to proceed.

Next, a popup will appear in a new tab. 

- Click “Always allow metro-tech.servicedesk.atera.com to open links of this type in the associated app”, then click “Open TicketingNotifications”.

Your Ticketing System is now available!

 

When you need to submit a ticket, right click on the icon at the bottom right, or hold “Ctrl” + “F12”.

Either of these will open a new browser window in which you can submit a ticket.
